Finally the practice is making perfect. This guy isn’t my best work but you know what i’m starting to get the hang of this.

Dual Weilding Man Elf Guy
Nope. Read the last 3 blog posts for why…
Not proud of this one.
Ranger Grey Hair Man
Yikes… This one was just a wreck all around.
Colorful Paladin Woman
Another example of really practicing and trying different things that I ended up hating.
Sword and Shield Warrior 2
Same as the other one, these two I did around the same time and they just both are proof that I was learning how to paint again.
Sword and Shield Warrior
Getting my feet wet again at 3D painting and this miniature was a causualty. I tried some color schemes I liked but overall I don’t like the look of it at all…
Old Wizard with Ball
I’ve owned this metal wizard for over 10 years. It was my first repaint. I soaked him in some simple green cleaning solution and the paint and primer came off.
Repainting him, he looks so much better. I wish I had a photo from before, but he was brown and boring.
Now he glows with wizard-y colors!
Ogre with Battle Club
Painted this over Christmas break, added the base about a year later. This was my first large model and surprisingly at least to me it felt easier to paint as there was a larger surface area to play with.
I thought he turned out pretty good and I am happy to add him to my collection.
I thought of adding some blood to his club and fist and I’ve always enjoyed that silly detail.
Space Marine
Coming back from a miniature Hiatus, I was a little nervous about touching my freshly purchased prints so I painted one of my unpainted space marine guys. I was pretty happy at how my adult brain could figure this hobby out a little better.
Yeah the base isn’t cleaned up and there’s plenty of problems but I like him.
Maybe someday I’ll actually finish a box of space marines…
Old Cleric – Holcum Harris
I started playing D&D with an old friend and some people I never met before. Our group was called the Swamp Gazer Gang and we played those characters for the next 3 years, getting together every other Sunday for a 6 hour day of laughs, bad dice rolls, and collaboration.
Holcum H. Harris was my character and I of course had to paint a mini for the adventure.
I love the way his gold turned out on the cloak, his character followed Abadar the god of law, currency, and civilization.
